Chapter 1: The Photographer
The visitor offers herself to document the community´s weddings, baptism, birthday parties and more as a way to get to know people as well as a way to give a service back.
The B-day party:
Fernando turns 25. He celebrates his b-day with other 25-30 friends who have too, migrated from the amazon region of Ecuador. Many who were high school classmates.
Gaby´s Quiceañera:
Fernando invites the photographer to take pictures of her cousin Gaby´s quinceañera. She finds that the immigrant community is very interconnected. This family is made up of Ecuatorianos, Colombianos, Mexicans, Portuguese and more.
The Baptism:
The Ecua-mexican family celebrates little Elias baptism.
The Wedding
The Doctor and his wife celebrate a small wedding at their new home with friends and family. People from Ecuador are present through video calls.
